Olivier Boutellis-Taft

Accountancy Europe, CEO

Olivier spent more than 25 years in international leadership positions in the professional services and the not-for-profit sectors.  He also held several directorships on international boards, served as a public prosecutor and started as a small business entrepreneur at the age of 17.  Since 2006 he is the CEO of Accountancy Europe.  In these different roles, he always strived to advance the public interest as well as social and environmental responsibility.

Bruno Lété

Senior Fellow, Security and Defense, German Marshall Fund

Bruno Lété currently serves as a senior fellow of security and defense at The German Marshall Fund of the United States in Brussels. He provides analysis and advice on trends in geopolitics and on international security and defense policy. He focuses primarily on the EU Common Security & Defense Policy, NATO, and developments in Central and Eastern Europe.

In 2010, Lété joined the European Union Delegation to the United States in Washington, DC, where he supported the political, security, and development section and focused on U.S. foreign policy and EU–U.S. relations. He started his career in 2007 as a program associate for the German Marshall Fund, where he helped developed GMF’s signature policy conferences such as Brussels Forum.

Lété studied at the University of Ghent in Belgium and at Collegium Civitas in Warsaw, Poland. He holds a bachelor’s in communication management and a master’s in international relations. He appears regularly in the media and is the author of frequent opinion pieces and policy briefs. In 2008 he was made a John C. Whitehead Fellow by the Foreign Policy Association in New York City.

Amanda Paul

Senior Policy Analyst, European Policy Centre (EPC)

Amanda Paul is a Senior Policy Analyst in the Europe in the World Programme at the European Policy Centre. She has well-established expertise on issues related to Turkish foreign and domestic policy, Ukraine, security and conflict resolution in the Black Sea region, Russian foreign policy in the former Soviet space and EU foreign policy in its Eastern neighbourhood. Amanda also developed and leads EPC’s work on counter-terrorism and violent extremism.

Amanda is also a Senior Associate Research Fellow at the International Centre for Policy Studies in Kyiv, Ukraine, where she contributes to research and events related to Ukraine and the broader region. She is also a Senior Advisor on issues related to the Eurasia region for Stober, Poltavets and Associates. Prior to joining the EPC, Amanda worked at the Centre for European Policy Studies, the European Commission and Türk Henkel in Istanbul, Turkey. She has published widely on her areas of expertise in numerous external publications, including academic journals and in the media.
